There's a first time for everything......

Well, it had to start somewhere right? I've been so into reading other people's blogs and thinking how therapeutic it must be to get it all out like that....so naturally I think of starting my own "therapy".

I guess I should begin with a little background information. I am a mother of two girls ages 6 years and 6 months. (yes I realize I waited an eternity between children, but you've never met my first baby and YES, dammit, they have the same father) jeez, can't a girl waffle on whether or not she even WANTS another kid??? I actually have had TWO random people ask me in a roundabout way if they had the same father, how fucking rude is that??
.....Don't get any funny ideas.....I'm done now.....no more waffling.....NO MORE KIDS! I made sure that was taken care of before I left the hospital with the second kid......another story for another day.

Besides being a mother I work full time as an Office Manager for my family's business that is 125 years old and I am also a professional photographer. I like, no I love football (Go Panthers) and I love photography and I love to laugh (at myself and at you). Since having my second mini (I call my kids the mini's, not unlike Clemsongirl......but I didn't steal that from her I swear) I don't have a lot of 'me' time and I'm going nearly insane. This insanity perpetuated my need for a new outlet and 'poof' a blog is born.

I promise to try to blog daily and I promise to try to be interesting....and I promise to never ever ever discuss politics or religion.

Now that we have that out of the way. Did you watch the Republican Convention.....kidding......I won't go there.

Today has been kind of craptastic from the word go, actually it started about 11:30 last night, but that's close enough to 12:00am which is really today.....so get over it. Anyway, the Little One got her 6 month vaccinations yesterday (don't even try to start with me about vaccinations.....I vaccinate.....get over it) and it's pretty much a guaranteed week of crappiness when that one gets shots. I'm wondering if she's going to be a drama queen because it doesn't seem like the Big One had this many issues when she got her vaccinations. But I digress, that Little One was up fussing and snotty and feverish ALL damn night. Which means Mommy is up all damn night.....where was Daddy you ask? Oh, well, Daddy was peacefully sleeping downstairs in our extremely comfortable bed alone while Mommy camps out in the Little One's room on the daybed with the mattress made out of a cardboard box filled with cement and gravel...okay that might be a slight exaggeration, but I didn't pick that mattress and it SUX people....it sux in a major way. Don't get me started on my worthless husband. It's Friday, and we just met....let's save something for later. So I'm guessing Little One will sleep all day at daycare so she can stay up all night again for Mommy. I can hardly wait......fun times, fun times.

So I'm definately ready for the weekend.......I have a babysitter, an overnight one Saturday night and it is ON people.....Mommy is going to either get her party on or get her sleep-in-her-own-bed on.....perhaps a little of both.... AND the Panthers play San Diego Sunday for the regular season opener and I'm excited. FOOTBALL, BEER AND NO MINI'S for the day!!!! WOO HOO!!!

I'll let you know how it goes......
